The recent heightened Alert Levels around New Zealand in response to Covid-19 have presented challenges right across the country, including for the racing, sports and wagering industries.
Like many organisations, TAB NZ has felt the effects of the lockdowns, particularly at Alert Levels 3 and 4. However, TAB NZ’s trading performance in September has helped to soften the impact. Trackside Senior Presenter Aidan Rodley spoke to TAB NZ Chief Transition Officer Dean McKenzie about the current trading conditions and how the Organisation is handling the impacts of these lockdowns in the first two months of the 2021/22 financial year.
